Okay I am in Shinjuku now. I spent about 5 hours on a train and after checking in at the hotel, I spent some time with a Portuguese guy, named Gonçalo (sounds like “gon’ sailo”) wandering around the district at night discovering little parts of the city.

Good fun was had. Tomorrow we plan to check out Akihabara and Ueno if there is time.
