Earlier this week I had received a parcel from Elouise of Smells Like Zines. Inside, was her latest zine “Dave is Hairy” and her brother, Bede’s zine, Random Pete. Dave is Hairy is a full colour pitch for Dave Roche, author of the zine About My Disappearance. It’s mostly about aspects of Antipodean life, which are seldom seen outside of these shores. And they are all of the things that foreigners get wrong. It also includes write-ups about other Antipodean zines and parts of Elouise’s school diary.

Randome Pete is the collected edition of the Randome Pete comics that Bede Q has drawn over the years. It is well random.
