Time to catch up on a couple of things that I forgot or missed.

The Proof is a free newspaper in Chicago filled with random articles, comics, poetry and etc. The only payment is towards the shipping and subscription costs. The other interesting fact is the person behind it all, is keeping the submissions open, so open, in fact the submissions are not exclusive to just The Proof. And that, is a pretty tempting invite for me.

I Draw Comics is a reference guide for some of the basic and advanced illustration concept and provides space in the book to practise the same. I honestly doubt that I’ll draw in mine. It is too nice a book to muck up with my poor sketching. I’ll just cart it around for reference.
