So last night, I caught up a friend down at Enlighten. We checked out the Night Noodle Markets, where we picked up some pork and chicken on sticks, dumplings and gyoza. The plan was to get some waffles on a stick, but there was a wait and the sun was setting.
Overall, this year’s projects felt better than last year‘s in spots. The mathematics and science-inspired projections on the side of the Portrait Gallery were a vast improvement from that previous Enlighten. The NGA ran a few lights in honour of James Turrell across the bridge that joins them to the High Court. And the Halls of Justice remained eerily dark.
Probably the only thing I didn’t check out was the boats sitting in the lake. But I’ll make something of it later in the week.
And now photos.
