February – Roundup

The later half of February was starting and now desperately trying to finish up a certification course, realising there was a minor fuckup that happened last year, and looking for a new job in design.

It also had a test photoshoot on the rooftop pool of friends’ apartment block. I don’t get much chance to mess around with the flash. So firing it off was a bit of fun, and scouting out the the rooftop garden and pool was needed for a small project that will come to light soon.

Photo buddy Jakub wanted to go for a walk around the ANU and take a few shots of some architecture, namely the new medical research building. The John Curtin School of Medical Research is stacked like a spread of playing cards, and you access it by a long set of shallow steps or by ramp. It hit thirty-five degrees, and with the Canon TS lens, my camera started to warn me that it was hitting the maximum operating temperture. My shooting was cut short, so I just follow Jakub around as he continued to shoot away.

Enlighten started at the end of Feb, but there might be a post about it soon, depending on workload, study and other priorities.
