July – Leftovers
Leftovers from Sydney and the rest of the month. Trying to chase the light for the right shot, or get the timing right at the very least. It’s getting colder and busier.

July – Sydney
Around tabling at the Other Worlds Zine Fair, I spent a bit of time off of work and hanging around Sydney, going to a birthday drinks at a nautical-themed bar, checking out a small taqueria in Chippendale, a French bistro in Newtown, interruptions by track works, late night wanderings and trash being dredged from deep…

July – Other Worlds
So I took a couple of days off to be in Sydney for this year’s Other Worlds Zine Fair. Now in their twelfth year, the tables are still packed and the crowds are still coming. This year the fair was installed in the Peter Forsyth Auditorium. Almost every year it’s been in the Marrickville Town…

There is a minor issue with the new 30mm GF lens and the infrared filter I bought for it. Some weird halo forms in the centre of the shot…but…

June
It’s cold, which I enjoy, but my hands don’t. The work project is accelerating towards its final date. This month saw me walking around with the GFX all month, since I bought a new lens, a GF30mm f3.5. I rarely buy secondhand, but it’s worked out okay so far. I’ve looking forward to working on…

Film Shots
I forgot to previously post about my film shots from Iceland, Copenhagen, Sydney and Melbourne. I’ve got to rescan these as part of a film book/zine project, but I’ve gotta get a film cutting jig first.
